    Silkback Raw Skin, Too-early Shed

I was just informed that Blaze passed away today around noon or noon thirty... :( She was just too weak. It's very sad, she was only six months old and had been doing so well. They want me to tell everyone here thank you for all the help and advice. I'm not sure what they plan to do, or IF...

Here is a pic of her eye I got yesterday. Also when they tried to give her a bath today she didn't take, she rolled around until they pulled her out. Does the silver cream need to be washed off?

Pretty sunken.. let me upload the pic they sent me to show. They said she hasn't been eating much, but she ate a little today. Other than that they say she is weak and doesn't move much.

I am waiting for a response from her keepers! I told them that it could be the residue though, so hopefully they are a little less worried. Her appetite isn't much at all these days and there is still a concern of dehydration. Her eyes are sunken in. They are giving her one or two baths a day...

    Silkback Raw Skin, Too-early Shed

Hello! She is still making it. They've been applying the silvery cream and giving her a bath or two during the day. Dehydration is a concern because her eyes keep appearing sunken. I was sent a few pics to share though this is the one I chose to upload. A new concern is that her skin is...

They are getting both honey and the cream. Is it safer to use one over the other? There are also concerns about the honey drying up or crusting on her skin. Ate those valid? I told them to use the cream until the honey thing is figured out.

Also how often would the cream or honey be applied?

    Silkback Raw Skin, Too-early Shed

Hello Tracie! What is silver cream and where is it found? I've been told that she looks like she is in a lot of pain. They said it could be related to having a terrible sunburn. Or you know.... a layer of skin raw. She ison paper towels. Would it help if she was given time on moist paper...

Here is the pic I was sent. There is water and aloe vera on her which makes her skin look more shiny, but they said not by much. It was also pointed out that her legs and tail are what her skin usually looks like.

    Silkback Raw Skin, Too-early Shed

Hello! It's been a long time since I've posted here, and I'm here now to request some help for a bearded dragon that belongs to someone close to me. They have a young silkback who was shedding, and on a vet visit the vet decided to peel all the shed skin off. When they got her back it looked...

    Dude needs help. - R.I.P.

It is with the highest amount of regret that I must post the unfortunate passing of my beloved Dude. He didn't live much longer after my last post, and it's taken me this long to summon the effort to update. He will be.. ..greatly missed. Rest in peace, big guy. Love you, and miss you already..

I don't believe he's going to make it. He's just laying there, weak as can be. We expect him to stop breathing anytime now. It's killing us. My fiance is holding him as I can't even bear to look at him in such a state. He's crying and I'm trying really hard not to. We don't even have the money...

The light he uses is a Megaray, which is a MVB bulb and from what I understand, unless research has indicated otherwise in the past year or so, is better than a regular UVB bulb. I can try to get the temperatures up by adding a regular housebulb for heat. I only hesitated to do so before...

    Dude needs help. - R.I.P.

Okay, just tried feeding him some green bean baby food with pedialyte mixed in. He ate.. -maybe-.. a quarter of a millimeter. Not much at all. He didn't really seem too enthusiastic about it, and I don't know if I should try prying his mouth open or if that'd just cause him unnecessary stress...
