    Black Phoneix worms?

You're absolutely right. I had them confused. I'm so sorry! I'm still very surprised that one turned into a fly on you. I thought it took them a long time to turn. How long have you had them?

    Witblits

I found out about them just recently, since I'm still pretty new to beardie ownership. What don't you like about them?

I would love one! But I would feel bad for not breeding it, since they're so rare.

I think this is quite possibly the most beautiful dragon type I've seen. Waayyyyy out of my price range, but you should take a look! They are gorgeous grey/gold and patternless. I was wondering if anyone else has heard of them. http://www.witblitsdragons.com/index_files/Page1899.htm

    will not touch greens anymore

I'm currently having the same problem with my dragon and have been for about a month. I tried everything and nothing worked, but some people say the baby food works. Get chicken or pumpkin or other vegetable flavored baby food, and make sure it's just that veggies and water--no preservatives...

    Black Phoneix worms?

Sometimes it just takes them a while to move. A few will die, yes, but there have been times where I was sure a worm was dead and then it moved after 5 minutes or so. I find that the ones who are dead aren't black so much as they seem to be white but their insides are black and the head is still...

    Black Phoneix worms?

That might be it! Just flip over the lid that came on your phoenix worm cup and put them on that. They will generally just crawl around the edge, and they generally can't get out unless it's wet. Every now and then, you'll have an escapee, but your beardie will probably eat them fast enough.

    Black Phoneix worms?

They won't pupate since they're in that original container, all together. The packaging they come in is all organic and is safe for your beardie to ingest and will not cause impaction. It's a good idea to wash them off though. I bet the packaging doesn't taste too good! In case they're not...

    Black Phoneix worms?

You don't need to get rid of them! In fact, when they turn black they have more nutrients in them and are even better for your beardie. They will only turn into flies if they are isolated without food or water (think of a bunch of them in individual compartments in a tackle box). They will not...

    Refuses Greens

I'm concerned about my beardie, Parthy. She's 5 months old, 14 inches and 112g. For over a week now, she has refused nearly all of the veggies/greens/fruits I have offered her. She didn't eat any reptiworms for a few days, and I'm still working on that (slowly improving) but I still haven't had...

    Beardie Suddenly Picky

Yeah, right when she first went on the hunger strike, I got her some crickets. She ate 3 but then was too lazy to chase after the others! I'm also wondering if she prefers the supers because they're just bigger. It took her some encouraging to even eat the waxworms. She's still small, so I'm not...

    Beardie Suddenly Picky

I was wondering if you could help me out a little more, zandi. Since my last post, she has eaten one more big meal of reptiworms, 20 or so. She sometimes eats 1-5 when I offer them to her now. I went to my local pet store and found some wax worms and super worms. I got a small amount of both...

    Storing Wax Worms

I recently bought about 50 wax worms for my dragon to try. They were in a fridge at 50 degrees. However, when looking online, I see people saying to store them anywhere from 45 to 65 degrees. What temperature do you guys store wax worms at? I currently have a beverage cooler that gets from 50 to...

    Beardie Suddenly Picky

Wow, that's a lot! Parthy has never eaten that many, and I give her a full 15 minutes to eat. She usually eats a good amount of greens though, so I've never been concerned until now. I have a water dish that I converted into a food bowl. It's great for her salad and was great for superworms. She...

    Beardie Suddenly Picky

It'll be easier for me to have weekly meals set, but I had honestly not thought of a worm salad. I might try that. Is that a lot of food for a beardie? I hear the hornworms are really filling for some of them. Parthy (when she eats well) typically has ~25 reptiworms in a meal. Do you have any...
