I'm just curious to hear from other beardie breeders, what is the maximum age you will breed a female beardie? Do you find that clutch size/quality tends to drop after a certain age? I'm looking to hear from those who've had experience breeding females of different ages, not just 'hear-say' from...

I didn't realise you were an 'old friend' of Rick Walker :lol: He does breed some stunning dragons though.

Here are some of my babies. The only one I didn't breed myself is Lucien, and I am keeping all of them except T-Rex, who has already gone off to a new home.

Yes... heat cord under one-third of each tub, connected to a thermostat. Works great. Gives a nice hot spot up the end of each tub and the babies love to sit there. Obviously a radiant heat source is preferable (heat globes) but with this rack system, heat cord is the more logical choice. Bubs...

Wow, he's lucky you took him in :) Those are some pretty awful conditions he was being kept in. He's a good looking boy. Best of luck with everything!

Thanks :) I'm really, really happy with him and looking forward to seeing what kind of babies he will throw. Yeah he'll be getting a bath in the next day or two. Phoenix needs a bath too, she's going through a shed at the moment.

Thanks Nanci Yeah, he's still a little sleepy from the flight so I tried to just snap a few quick photos without disturbing him too much. He is still looking a bit dull, so I'm looking forward to getting him out in some decent light and taking some photos once he's really coloured up...
