    Bad news

Canth, my rescused dragon with the bad jaw, died on Sunday June 1. I thought he was going to be ok, he had gained about 50 grams, and was looking good, he even had a cute little belly. He was eating well and being active. Then he started vomiting, and passing undigested food. I took him to the...

    Awkward Waving...

What an adorable little one!!!! I just love the name. It is so interesting seeing the names people come up with for their beardies and where they get them from. I was really amazed at how much personality they have, they are so interesting and my two are completely different from each other...

    Hi, new to the forum.

Yes, he is named after Canth the brown dragon from Pern. I figured that the Canth from the book is a hero and a survivor. He is the biggest brown dragon on Pern, and he survived his fall from the red star. So I hoped by naming my dragon after him he could become a big survivor too...

    Hi, new to the forum.

I do too. Everyone comes up with such interesting names for their dragons. Update: Canth does have pinworms, and is now on medication for them. We will recheck a stool sample after his medication runs out.

    Hi, new to the forum.

Sorry. I should have made it clear. Yes they are in different houses. At the moment we are being careful to isolate him from her as much as possible. They live on different floors of the house and I make sure that every day I take care of her first, then him, then change my shirt and scrub...

Dragon does not like to be picked up

I have an adult female dragon. She is 2 1/2 years old. I adopted her about a year ago from someone who couldn't keep her any longer. Her former owner was afraid of her and never held her. She did pet her head and back, and she does not mind that, but she does not like being picked up. She...

    Hi, new to the forum.

Hi. My name is Mina and I have two bearded dragons. My first is a two year old female in good health named Munchie. My second is a recent rescue, (recent as in I've had him a week) named Canth. He is very thin, and suffered some kind of trauma to his jaw. There is a scar across the top of...
