mine is the same. He will eat mealworms, horn worms, super worms, wax worms but not phoenix worms. I dont understand either. is it safe to only offer them for a while? i dont really want him to starve but i guess he should eat them when he gets hungry right?

i think he is afraid more than hyper. If i bring my hand in he moves away. when i go to pick him up he runs. everynow and then i can get under him and pick him up before he gets started. he has eaten out of my hand a few times but still runs. i have never been able to rub him without him...

I have about a 4 month old dragon now and he/she always runs from me. Every now and then i can pick her/him up but if I don't hold tight he/she jumps out and runs. I haven't taken it out of the terrarium as i am concerned it will jump down and run. Any advice for calming my dragon down?

i am in the process of setting up all my lighting. I am mounting the uvb 10.0 inside the viv. i also want to mount the basking lamp inside but i cant find a small housing for the bulb. I dont really want to strip wires to attach to extension cord. what else are you guys doing for this?

where are you guys buying your phoenix worms? i find that shipping is almost equal to the price of the worms. my local petstores only sell mealworms. Also because i am in florida i cannot get dubia roaches so phoenix worms seem like the way to go. my little guy is about 8" long. thanks
