How to get re-interest in crickets?

I would love to use pheonix worms and dubai... but unfotunately dubai are illegal in Canada... dumb laws. And the closest place that ships out pheonix worms, for some reason to my area would cost 40$ in shipping... for a 20$ order of worms :S the logic there is astounding.. I was thinking of...

How to get re-interest in crickets?

So over the last few months, my 9-11 month old(approx) guy has stopped eating/showing any interest in crickets. I can basically only feed him 6-8 super worms in the morning(as i know with their chitin/hard shell 6-8 is about the most that can be fed in a day) and his daily greens/peppers. He...

Stopped Eating most things for some reason?

HeS anywhere from. 8-11 months old.. Not entirely sure which. I've tried a variety of things and he just ignores the stuff till he's hungry I assume. Variety doesn't seem to change much, he does that no matter what item is in his dish. And I don't have a scale, but visibly it doesn't look...

So my beardie used to eat his daily fill of crickets 2x a day and his collard greens... then he would refuse to eat collard greens so I added mainly peppers ontop and he ate them for a while.. now he has went back to occasionally eating his greens/veggies... Basically, I got a few superworms...

    Possible New Enclosure Idea

So.. I was a bit dumb and baught a 36x12x12 when I was first getting a bd.. now that he's pretty much outgrown the height, and as weather should now permit im probably going to build a 4x2x2 for him. One of my concepts is something along the lines of this.

shows no interest in greens anymore

Ok so my bd, Jarvan, about 7-9 months old now has recently.. Ide say within the last 2-3 weeks has given up on greens for some reason. He will still eat other vegetables like peppers and squash.. But avoids anything leafy and green. He used to eat his daily collards, but now just ignores them...

Is a Beardie right for us? Feeding question

Yes, bearded dragons, especially young ones need the protein from live prey to live and grow. When they reach adulthoransition to about 70-80% plants and 30% protein but will always need to be fed some form of live insect. Gut loading is basically just as it sounds. You feed the prey items food...

Sign that lizard lovers will probably enjoy

So my girlfriend came back from a trip to florida, and instead of getting me one of those cheesy shirts that say florida, she found and got me this. As lizard lovers I figured some of you would enjoy seeing it.

    Possible brumation or not?

He's also been going to bed really early some days. A few days I've came home to feed him @ 7ish and he's tucked into his cave trying to sleep or out in the open with his eyes closed. So I just let him sleep instead of waking him to give him his second meal Don't know if that means anything either.

Usually the temp is closer to 100-105. It was hotter in my house the one day so it peaked at that. And ehh... He'll sit there for a bit but then move to the cool side most of the time. I bathe him every 2-3 days however lately I haven't been home as much so sometimes 4-5 days without one. But...
