Ok.. I will have to try those lights then. I will maybe try to bring the other one back. Natural light is best though right. Should I try and make him an outdoor pin or something? I was thinking maybe a bunny cage or something like that to rig up appropriately. Or is that a stupid idea. I just...
Ok. So I brought him outside for an hour for 2 days and today he ate 5 worms. I'm so happy. I just don't understand why he did so awesome when I first switched to this one and then went downhill. I guess I will try the lights you use. I am sorry it took so long to get back to you. Finals week is...
Ok... what light do you recommend that takes care of all his needs.
The solar brite I have use for a few short months and was at first working great. I don't understand the change!
Yep... he has bumps on the inside of his thighs.
Today he has been kinda sluggish. He drags his belly like a crocodile.
Still using the solar brite bulb.
His last urates seemed hard and white
Ok... soooo.
I looked up how to determine the gender of dragons and they had example pics and I am 99% sure that he is a boy. He has the 2 hemipenal bulges on the sides of his tail/butt area. I know that isn't quite the scientific way to explain it.
There is a BD that looks just like that at the pet store down the street that is there for boarding. I saw him and my heart broke. I gave the stupid kid working there a piece of my mind but unfortunately he wasn't in charge and never was in the reptile department. He just the go getter guy I...
Sorry I haven't been on in forever but HE IS EATING.. woohoo! and he is slowly getting more active. I am sooo happy. I think the light worked. He is getting to be his old self again. His beard is a little on the dark side and he has some signs of stress marks though.
I can't believe this. I just spent 57.00 on this light. I was told that is has a high uvb output so I will stick to it for now. From what I can see he seems to be doing better. I am not 100% sure if my bearded is a male or female. Does it make a difference??
Ok... Sorry it took a while to get back to you but one thing led to another and well.. you know how life goes. Horses... they are a handful.
Anyway.. I bought another bulb that the guy at the store said was the best for uvb. It is a 100 watt "Solar Brite" exotic pet light.
His bloodwork...
Today... he is doing nothing but basking. I do not have the results in hand... I will have to call them monday. I just got a phone call to tell me the results. I believe the light is sun glo
The bloodwork was clean.
The supplement I use is rep-cal.
I believe the bulb I have is the exo terra tight beam.
I am not longer leaving the light on all the time.
I have a hard time understanding brumation completely.
MBD was my guess but the fist vet said not likely and the second vet gave...
