Hey Jscott,
I like the fan idea but I have 8 x 16 inch vents on both side walls and the two long vents on the back wall and plexiglass sliding doors in the front...do you still think it will work to "suck"the heat out??
Thanks for the reply
I am looking for a MVB 60 watt (self ballasted or externally ballasted) out there - the Megaray is the only one I can find. I have read taht the Megarays are great bulbs but just seeing if there are any others out there.
Thanks
as for sub strate I have white paper towels over shelf-liner. Sorry If I mis-read your reply but do you know of another quality 60 watt MVB (EB or SB) out there ??? Thanks again
I think I'm gonna have to go this route....I appreciate the help. Is there any other quality MVB 60 watt EB that you recommend other than the Megaray / Is that what you are currently using? Just checking out my options. I have the Megaray is the best though.....Thanks - yes - you did help...
Hey there-
thanks for getting back to me......no actually I put two long vents (2 inch by 14 inch) on the back wall rather than the 5 circular vents as suggested. I would think that that would be more air flow than the 5 small circulars but I could be wrong.
hmmm.....didn't think about it...
EB - External ballast
SB - Self ballast
My enclosure is way too hot. I currently have a SB 100 watt T-rex in a 4 x 2 x 2
If I go to the 60 watt I can only find it in an EB kit by Megaray. What will I need ???? Where does the ballast fit into the fixture - do I have to re-wire????
Any help...
Hey there-

I have :
100 watt T-rex active UV flood MVB (It is inside a deep dome fixture that has the top part out...
Wow Alex, That is pretty awesome of you to make 2 calendars because of the amount of photos you recieved.
I that must be alot of work on your part. Much appreciated ....
Thanks....no I don't have a background in there because I haven't seen any that large that I like....there isn't any reflection from the back wall or sides though . I'm scared to put a hide in there because I'm afraid then he'll stay in there all the time.He spends most of his time at the front...
Thanks.....I will try that . He just looks so lonely and lost in there with all that space and nothing to jump and climb on ... his old viv had very little in it because he just got over a battle with coccidia. I threw away all his old stuff because it was porous and hard to clean and didn't...

Hi there-
Friday I completed and moved my BD into his new enclosure (4X2X2) . Because the new viv doesn't fit where his old viv was - I moved him about a week ago into the new room so he could get used to the surroundings of that room since it is more of a "high traffic" area. I thought it...
