I'm looking at this one: Zoo Med Under Tank Heater which actually says it has one adhesive side to "stick" to the bottom of a terrarium, but I'm not sure how hot it gets at the surface? Could it be stuck to the bottom of the tote or would it get too hot, with or without a thermostat?

General rule of thumb is dust feeders once per day for 5 days per week with calcium, and the other 2 days a week dust once with vitamins.

D'awww, cute little tyke! A suggestion I've seen on this forum is to put the crickets in a baggie and pop them in the fridge for a few minutes to slow them down before feeding. I bet he would appreciate that!

That's what I was thinking, just wasn't sure if there was any difference in the livestock feed vs. the small animal pellets. Sounds like that's the way to go! I'm getting my first small order of dubias tomorrow and if Loki likes them I'm going to get a colony started.
