    Big horn worm

I thought this was June 2019, not 2018 but thought I'd comment anyway. What you likely saw was the last shed of this caterpillar before pupating. They shed 5 times, the final is when they pupate after burrowing in the ground. The "skin" gets thicker in this near final stage and less digestible...

    Horn worm moth

You're welcome. Even though I wrote it 14 yrs ago(!) I reference it for keepers from time to time. There is one on silkworms, too. The manduca moths are nice & hefty so a good meal :) lele

    Horn worm moth

Hi, The adult moths are safe to feed to your Beardie. As for feeding the moth, you will first need to contain in it, preferably in a large cage. They are very strong fliers and will beat up their wings @ night trying to fly off. My suggestion would be to feed to beardie as soon as it ecloses...

    Odd sleeping position.

Beardies can certainly get themselves into some odd sleeping positions, but this does look weird. His/her tail looks funny in 2nd pic. Can you post a pic of your dragon during day in normal position? Follow directions above or have your friend help.

    Reintroduction

Finally getting around to posting a few pics of my boy. Named him Eleye because he has really neat light color eyes. You'll see his eyes are sort of "frog like." I have never seen this in a beardie before. Darwin was so streamlined. Eleye has really nice color and pattern. It's possible the...

    Possible URI, question re: outside

Hi Eleye, very healthy guy, was bulging his eyes (general cleaning, I thought) but kept his right eye closed and looked puffy underneath so I looked and he had slight discharge, almost clear with a tinge of yellow. I patted it off and seemed OK then saw string from his mouth. Looked in mouth...

Reclaimed Bearded Dragon always has stress marks?

What kind of 100w light is it? If it is halogen or led it won't get hot enough. The best $20 I ever spent was on a temp gun (now probably $25, I think beautifuldragons.com sell them). I've had mine for 15 years & it still works. You can measure basking spot, cool area, nighttime temps, your...

    Finding dandelions

Keep in mind, come spring/summer when you collect your own, be aware the area has not been sprayed and DO NOT collect from roadside, near parking lot nor driveway as these will all have been exposed to exhaust.

    Reintroduction

Thanks everyone. I am picking him up today so will certainly be posting pics over the next couple days! I was on the board of a reptile rescue in NH and much of what we did was education for those who bought "the cute little _____ (dragon, chameleon, etc.) at a pet store and ended up with poor...
