So my beardie for the past week or so has been acting a little strange at first I didnt really see her eat much and then out of no where she climbs under her leaning log and started scratching at the floor for a few second then lays down. At first I thought she might be gravid but at 10 months...
It's around 113 degrees I checked it with a ir gun but I just recently caught him basking seems like he just doesnt normally bask when I'm around and the uv is the reptisun hood so it's someone directional so he receives uv while under the basking bulb
My beardie doesnt bask under his heat bulb more over he likes to bask under his uvb light only. I dont know why maybe it's because the uvb light is closer than his heat bulb
My beardie is roughly 4-6 months of age and has grown to 11.5 inches in length from tail to head and I remembered someone told me that when they are around 6 months old they are considered juvenile and require vegetables in their diet. Now my beardie roughly eats 60 small dubia roaches a day so...
So due to my work schedule i am not able to maintain a 3 times a day feeding schedule for my juvenile beardie, so after being told the recommended amount of live insects to feed every meal is 10-20 insects, I've have been setting out a bowl with 60ish dubia roaches in the morning to allow him to...
So do to a shipping error I received 1200 dubia roaches in 3 different packages so now my cricket pen I was using isn't going to work as well as it did. Could use some idea for containing them while possible retaining the usefulness of the tubes from the cricket pen.
So recently I had the idea of cutting up an old sock into a square "blanket" for my beardie. I was juster wondering if this a good or bad idea cause it came to mind that he could get stuck on it. Should I use a different material or change how it's set up like cutting it into squares for him.
So I'll be going out of town for a few days, and I was wondering if it'd be okay to leave the Zoo Med juvenile bearded dragon food in his dish while I'm gone. His lights are timed and new so those are all set.
No I'm not feeding him greens hes only 3 months old and was told to just feed him an insect diet and I use repticarpet for his enclosure and he hasn't been eating for a few days due to him shedding I've been trying to entice him to eat with dubia roaches but he doesn't care for it the only thing...
I recently discovered that my beardie might be eating his fake plant in his terrarium so I removed it from his terrarium and gave him apple sauce with some veg oil to help him pass it but I just looked at him and he looks really bloated and I'm really worried about him
