Is there a gun or something that is used to measure the usefulness of the lights? I read where some know exactly how much their lights are giving off. I think lighting is the worst part of having a beardie.

Actually this is for my gecko. But someone on here might know the answer. Would using shelf liner in the gecko tank be ok and ok to cover the UTH? I didnt want to cover up the heat for him.

I gave up on liners a year ago. She is right on the glass and loves it. She slips and slides around but she prefers it that way - shrug. I might try some tile if I can ever remember to go to the Habitat for Humanity store.
