Thanks so much for the advice, I think he was getting the sand in his water, and drinking it. That is all on carpet now. He seems to be much more alert. Also, how do I measure the temp for the basking light? How often should I change the bulb?

This substrate is called Granite Gulch and it is by T-Rex. Has anyone ever heard of it, or used it? I just traded my old stuff out for this as my dragon became impacted, but I'm still worried because it is a sand-type substrate.
