I am using the 160 watt. I got it in late October/ Early November. And yeah it seems the 100w has more bad reviews than the 160w. I live in Canada, so I need a lot of extra heat, that's why I went for the higher wattage.

I replaced it this April, and I have a thermometer on his cool side, and on his warm side I have a dial that is in there day and night, as well as a probe which I put in a few times a week on his basking spot as he tries to eat it
