I'm not too sure how to post another picture on here, it seems to have changed! The theory is that she either went to get the live feed through glass and bit her tongue or there was a sharpe barbe on one of the hoppers legs! It was just a freak accident. She had a check up today and all is well...

Thank you guys, it was exspensive but I'd do anything for her. Thank you. I would've been silly not to get her treatment! :)

All the worry is now over, my baby girl is out of surgery and they could save the tongue! So relieved now :)

No she isn't fine, her tongue has gone septic as it doesn't have sufficient blood supply. She will be in for surgery in an hour or so... Picking her up from the vets tomorrow

Bit of bad news guys, her tongue has deteriorated and has turned grey. Getting her to a vet first thing tomorrow morning to get her tested for infection or even get the tip of the tongue taken off for her. I'll keep you updated but again she is fine and eating/drinking well. Just her tongue :(...

Ok thank you, good news today and the end that is hanging off has shrunk in size and doesn't look as angry. My little girl is a trooper!

Thanks, I literally just signed up because I've panicked a little, the really red tip,(now that I have had a look) is actually only just connected to her tongue by a fine layer of tissue. It appeared after she ate so I fear one of her live feed may have now bitten the end of her tongue off :(...
