    New Baby Now Eating...A Lot

So about a week ago I posted saying our baby beardie wasn't eating regularly. That's changed and he's eating a ton. However (and against my better judgement) my partner as been feeding him super large mealworms. They're his size! I keep telling her not to but our last beardie was sick and ended...

How Much Should A Baby Beardie Be Eating?

He was eating pretty well at first, possibly the most well behaved baby I've ever seen. Very good at handling, ate almost immediately by hand, very docile and tamed very quickly and didn't show any signs of stress. He was shedding about a week and a half ago but now he doesn't seem to be. We do...

How Much Should A Baby Beardie Be Eating?

No, our elder Beardie (Eddie) is in the cage below him with the Little Guy (Archer) above him so he gets more warmth. The higher temperature end is around 90 with a basking spot about 110 degrees. His cage is multilevel so he has a higher up basking spot (closer to the heat source) and a lower...

How Much Should A Baby Beardie Be Eating?

My partner and I got a bearded dragon about 6 weeks ago which means (if the pet store is correct) he is now 12 weeks old. When we got him he weighed 21 grams, and now he hasn't gained any more weight (he weighs up to 24 grams if he's just eaten). He does eat, just not regularly (about every...

My baby beardie is not growing??

We used to have a beardie who did not grow. She was 3 years old and the size of a 6 month old and yet, up until she got sick and passed away (we aren't sure from what) she was eating a LOT and happy and healthy. We think she may have had a form of dwarfism, even though all of her bones seemed...

    Shedding Feet are Raw

Sorry for the bad picture. And concrete is the wrong word...like a tile type thing since we don't really like the idea of sand or anything he can ingest being in his cage. The loose skin feels fleshier than it ought to and is pink underneath where it shouldn't be. I'm probably just worrying too...

    Shedding Feet are Raw

Both front feet. The tops are shedding now too and the scales dont feel nearly as thick and "meaty" or soft...like how they ought to feel: dry and thin.

    Shedding Feet are Raw

I'll try and get a picture or two of his feet once I'm done giving the dog a walk. He has a glass floor with a cement slab on half to keep his nails happy, however he does have a pretty rough log he spends a lot of his time on as well.

    Shedding Feet are Raw

We have a 7 year old bearded dragon Eddy, who hasn't always had the best sheds (he's lost 4 toes on his back foot though one has, strangely, grown back nail and all). He's shedding again and right now the pads of his front feet are shedding but it's too early for them. The shedding skin is raw...
