    question on breeding silkworms

If they didn't spin a cocoon then they pretty much died. Means the worm wasn't healthy enough to spin a cocoon.

    Where to buy Discoids??

I have a Discoid colony going right now and I found a dealer who sold me 500 small nymphs. I am OK with this, but I really want to get some production going. Does anyone know a good place to get Discoid adults or sub adults? Thanks!

    Silkworm Question

The silkworms should be fine. Like Brandon said, just make sure mold doesn't build up. Let the food dry out completely before putting more wet food in the container. If you want them to grow they will grow rapidly if you feed them everyday and keep the temperatures between 85 and 88 degrees. If...

    Sign of brumation?

So I have had my girl Rosie now for 5 months, and she is around the 9 month age. I do not know her weight but she is definitely a big girl. I would say around 200 to 250 grams. I know she loves to eat and it has just been weird. I offer her greens and superworms like I always do in the morning...

    My first bearded dragon

Hey, don't worry about him only eating a few crickets here and there. It will be around a week to two weeks before he will start eating a lot to the relocation stress the little guy has. My opinion, and this is for the better health of all drtagons, stay away from mealworms period! Also, do not...

Having a hard time feeding my dragon veggies

I got my dragon 3 weeks ago. She is 7 months old and pushing 16 inches. She is a real good eater. I never had a problem with crickets or some supers. But it is the veggies. She was a rescue that I got from a reptile store. She is super sweet and attentive. What I have been doing is giving her...

    Meet Rosie!

Ohh yeahh. I take pride in that tummy. She was a rescue. Not nips or limbs missing, probably the previous owner just couldn't take care of her. Her tiny hip bones were sticking out and now they are almost flush. I think they never fed her greens so that is why it is a struggle getting her to eat...
