Hey yall!
I am a little worried I moved away to a new state and left my Beardie behind with my sister and brother in law until I can move back in a year or so when my works get settled.
But anyway I call and check up on her and my sister and that she has stopped eating greens and will only...
would using all three hurt her? i have a MVB and a UVB and a heat bulb. i don't know if using all three would be good. and i have a 40 gl and i think it might keep the cool side a little to warm :blob5: :blob8:
What do you mean by tune? And would this be a good bulb?

Or something more like this...
Ok yeah I think I'm just going to go with the strip fixture but you said that dose not have to be mounted further away only the MVB bulbs do?
And could I purchase a flood bulb at my local hardware store?
Thanks!
Hmm this is making me think. I am beginning to rethink returning the strip lighting fixture and bulb I just bought. The problem is I was still am researching heat bulbs for my beardie and I found some from zoo med (I only trust zoo med I feel that zillas products are very cheep and harmful for...
So what your saying is that one side needs to be UVB and the other a heated side? If thats the case can I place food under the UVB? What I have been doing is keeping all the lights on one side of the cage and the other side stays as a cool spot were the food and water are.
I just want to know...
So in other words I could go with either one? Like either the MVB or the heating bulb and the UVB Bulb? Would the MVB bulb be good for heating and UVB? Right now I was ushering the ReptiSun strip bulb and the MVB bulb. I just thought of another thing would using the ReptiSun and the MVB together...
So recently I purchased new lighting and bulbs for my beardie because I didn't think she had UVB bulbs so I bought all new fixtures and bulbs. Well today my heat bulb blew out and I took it out and looked at it and saw the name and looked up the type of bulb. I found out the bulb is a heat/UVB...
Thank you for you responce.
Yes he wants me to take her and like I said she will be in a car with out heat and the car will be very cold. He is also now wanting me to take in a ten gallon tank and she is a year and a half and would not fit in a ten gallon for a weekend. I don't have money to...
Yeah sorry about that. Just really worried
What I am trying to say or ask if someone could post reasons why it's bad for her not to have heat in a 50-60 degree car and such so I can show my dad. My vet said to give her baths daily bedsheets is always very dehydrated the sand she lives in keeps...
(someone please make a statement on how it's important for her to bathe everyday!)
5:the risk of the tank cracking is high!
6: we will be staying in a cabin and I wounding be able to give her a bath and this cabin dose not have a refrigerator and I would not be able to give her fresh food and I...
Not really a silly question to me anyway.
The stuff from the store dose tend to rot faster then home grown or vegetable stand fruits and vegetables. I keep it in the fridge in the bag it came in and it rots within two to three days.
I did start to grow squash, and kale and I think rather then...
