    How many supers?

Falthazur's finally hit 16" now, so I figured I'd give him some to try. :blob8: I go to order my crickets tomorrow at the local pet store (who lets me order through them at their bulk prices because they're awesome like that!) and they have supers there too... which I'd like more than crickets...

    Bugs

As to types of bugs, many people feed dubia roaches, which are excellent and a breeze to breed. Hit the feeders board, and you're sure to find the forum's two roach breeders who give discounts to BD.org members. Crickets are dirt cheap, but don't insult your nose like that trying to breed them...

Does my beardie not sleep because im awake?

Falthazur's on a timer which turns off at about 8:45. I'm usually awake until midnight or one, radio on, laptop on, two fish tank filters and lights, sometimes the room's light, and a fan. He didn't sleep so well before, but now he starts tuckering out before his light goes off and just crashes...

    Snoring??

I always thought that little clicking was the heat lamps cooling! I've been wondering what it is for months now. XP I don't hear it often though.

You know you're living with beardies when...

When your philosophy teacher has a 45 minute discussion on staring (... that never got back around to relate to philosophy...) that you keep extending with an explanation of the beardie death glare and all of its powers of suggestion. When playing D&D on an actual map, your beardie has been a...

You know you're living with beardies when...

When it's only three days into school and you're already known as "that chick with the lizard." :laughhard: Not my name mind you, just that I have a lizard. When the first thing you draw for your "like/dislike" chart in Chinese class is your lizard on the like and crickets on the dislike...

We have our beardie and yet another question

I've heard that they shouldn't be able to touch the bulb, which probably includes screens being in the way. Right up to the top is a bit dangerous for the UVB bulbs too. Is there any way you can hack down or whittle away a few inches of the stick? A good, sharp kitchen knife works wonders...

Any people happy they made the switch to roaches.

I find walnut shell makes for nice displays on the bottom of mine and dad's more desert-themed miniatures... And that's it. :| Not much good for more than oil spills and non-beardie-related crafts...

    Rescued two Bearded Dragons

The forum auto-resizes, at least on my computer. And I have no window sills for Fal to sleep... nor will Fal sit STILL. He's a neurotic little thing yet. XD

    Hello from Mississippi

Only named after the best dragon in history. ^_~ Dragon Heart is and forever will be one of my favorite movies. Tied with Serenity, Iron Man, and the Dark Knight, but still. XP.

    Rescued two Bearded Dragons

Yeah, I'm rather fond of the repticarpet in mine. I was going to use tile for Falthazur, but I found a huge sheet of the outdoor carpet in our garage. Hey. Free substrate. ^_~

    Rescued two Bearded Dragons

NOOOO NO RABBIT PELLETS! They're dusty, and grow bacteria and mold like crazy! Sand's pretty heavily debated around here when it comes to adults, so I'll spare you that one. The safest substrates are non-adhesive shelf liner, tile, and "repticarpet" which is pretty much out door carpet. The...
