Ya, I decided that after giving more thought to it. I am still wondering though if the extra 12" will be enough seperation alone for the lighting heat control, or should I add a layer of foam insulation between also? I just don't want the top viv temps to get hotter. Thanks for reply :D

I would assume the 160w are the MVB's aka Powersun or MegaRay. Either way you have to make sure the fixture can support that wattage bulb. Sure does seem like too much juice to outlet. Try a different outlet, or if on powerstrip/timer, try a different one.

Haha! That's it exactly. My dodger & phoenyx do it too. I come in the room and they do it, soon as I take them out and play with them for awhile...let em ruun around, give them a bath, etc...when I put them back they are done with that for the day. til the next day....LOL :lol:

@burdhr: I would replace it with ReptiSun because from what I have read, the Repti-Glo UVB levels are not safe. Jess will tell ya if I am wrong :D
