We made ours from a 5 gallon bucket, a few pieces of PVC pipe and rubber hose. I'll post pics tomorrow. We throw all kinds of leftovers in it (mostly bread, fruits and veggies). It does have a pungent odor, but no worse than your average compost bin. As far as rotting, I think the flies like it :)

My chameleons like to sleep on that wire... Aren't animals just the strangest? Pon likes to sleep wedged between the side of the tank and the water dish or on the highest part of the drift wood stick. When he's out he sleeps on me. Zi only sleeps on the drift wood or me.
