Such a Thing as Too Much Calcium?

Feeding too much calcium can cause your beardie to have to pass it in its urate. If it happens continuously you run the risk of a type of MBD called hypercalcemia.

    Big boy

Not sure why it uploaded upsidedown but here is a picture of his face and head. He loves cuddling almost as much as eating.

    Big boy

He eats as much as he wants once every other day. I alternate between crickets, mealworms, superworms and Phoenix worms. As treats he gets horned worms, butters and wax worms but not often. Daily salad consists of a staple, usually dandelion greens, and a treat (kale, fruit, parsley). Calcium dust...

    Big boy

Hey. Whenever I show someone a picture of Harold they make a comment that he is huge. I know beardies can get up to 24" (bigger if part German giant) but he's only about 20" and almost 1 year old. I figure he's normal sized but then comparing him to other pictures on here he does seem large...

uhm weird thing in with crickets?

It's part of the cleaner crew. Handy to have with your crickets but do not feeds them to your dragon. They are gut loaded with feces and cricket carcasses. Not very nutritional for your scale baby.

    First successful bathtime burrito

Harold loves bathtime but use to hate getting wrapped in the towel to dry off. Now that he's approaching his 10 month mark and is a lot more comfortable with me he took this warm opportunity so snuggle in and dry off.

    We tried to go outside

This is Harold. Normally he's a very calm dragon. The only time he puffs his beard and turns black is when we are trying to get some natural uv rays. We're slowly working on it and it's getting better.
