I got my beard from Dachiu.. I've had him for 6 weeks now and he's growing like a fiend with no issues. I just started up my dub colony.. But I've been purchasing from kfcfeeders out of Georgia. They're legit, fast, and produce healthy bugs. I did a purchase from dubideli about a month ago...

I feed my 12 week old dibias 2x's per day. He usually eats about 25 each time, small/medium 1/2" or so. I leave greens in his cage that he nibbles on throughout the day also. I dust with calcium (no d3) daily. Multivitamin once per week.

I got my guy at 10 weeks old, he's now 12 weeks. He's grown 1.25" and gained 23g so far. 10.5" and 60g.

Make sure you have some driftwood or something that it can climb to get closer to the bulb. Mount the UVB tube and basking light inside the tank.

You can up the amount of veggies given to your beardie if no regular protein source is available. You can also feed him egg whites with no seasonings or oils (just the cooked whites) as well.

I got my little guy last week from Dachiu, he's awesome! Very healthy and he's eating greens and dubia like a fiend. They have dragons anywhere from $45 to $300 usually ($40 overnight shipping required also btw).

Would any 6500k bulb work? Either CFL or LED? I feel like those R40's will be wayyy too bright.

Good call, putting another light there would definitely brighten up the cool side. The MegaRay keeps most of the tank bright, but it is 48" long so the far left side is a little dark. Thanks!
