    Mouth slightly open

Thanks! I give him calcium a few times a week but with superworms it does have trouble "sticking" on them. You'll see silk worms here but they're just an occasional treat as I have trouble finding them reliably. Here is an image from the side and one from before he started doing this: Side...

    Mouth slightly open

My beardie, Fluffy, recently started to keep his mouth very slightly open in the front starting about a week ago. I thought nothing of it at first because he's done this for a few hours at a time before. I am however getting concerned as he now keeps it this way and is going to sleep with it...

best price online for reptisun lights

I've always had good luck with reptilesupply.com. They aren't always the very cheapest but are consistently a good deal and have sales now and then on the reptisuns. It's better to order at least 2 lamps at a time though since the shipping cost isn't that much more than ordering 1.

    $230 later...

Also while on the tile subject, Lowes will actually cut it for you for free. Two 18x18 tiles fit great in a 40 gal breeder, but only if you have them cut about 3/8 to a half inch off one of one of each of the sides and use dowels.

Fecal Sample: Worms + Larvae + Gelatinous Sack

His de-worming visit was this morning. Here are the lab results: Giardia - Positive (Heavy) Stongyle - Positive (Heavy) The invoice doesn't mention the name of the medication, just "Oral Treatment Parasites #1". One weird thing is that he pooped a few hours after coming home this morning. It...

Fecal Sample: Worms + Larvae + Gelatinous Sack

So my beardie, Fluffy, had his first vet visit last weekend. Ever since he entered adulthood he always seemed to go a very long time in between poops. Sometimes it can be 4 weeks or more. He also would not eat everyday, but somedays make up for it by eating a lot (usually superworms and...

Vet for fecal test - San Francisco

Is anyone on this board in San Francisco? I want to take a fecal sample to get screened at a vet, but the one I called, All Pets Hospital, won't do it without an exam. Since its preventative and Fluffy seems healthy otherwise I would rather spend that money on a new UV bulb and silk worms...

1.5 Year Old Beardie not pooping/eating veggies

Thanks everyone for your advice. I gave him some applesauce over the past 2 days (had to roll superworms in it and have him eat them) and today while I was at work he left me a present. The first 1.5 inches or so was urea that was as hard as a rock... I hope it didn't hurt. Since it could be...

1.5 Year Old Beardie not pooping/eating veggies

Thank for the advice. I'm not sure he would voluntarily eat any applesauce or pumpkin since he won't touch veggies. How do you give a dragon drops of olive oil? Is there a technique to get them to open their mouth?

1.5 Year Old Beardie not pooping/eating veggies

Hi everyone. My beardie, Fluffy, has never really taken to veggies. For the past 6 months or so he has rarely eaten any, even when I try all the tricks. He used to occasionally eat his collard greens, but no more. Also, he appears to have been in brumation for about 6 weeks and has seemed to...

    Picked her(him?) up yesterday

Hi everyone! I just picked up my beardie yesterday after researching and lurking for the past few months. Right now the tank is sparse with a few bowls, a half log, and driftwood. Its a 40gal breeder. I have a ReptiSun 10.0 UVB tube on order from reptilesupply.com, so for the next few days...
