Could this make a good slurry?

I am not so sure about slurries...it sounds like a smoothie to me which I don't think would be appealing to a beardie. My beardie always go for bright colors in his food such as butternut squash. I only make a slurry for a beardie that I had to force feed with a syringe. Just my opinion...

What to do with Elvis while away...

Hi, I asked the same questions when I left my baby a few weeks ago. Usually I feed Rex crickets twice a day and I leave a bowl of his salad throughout the day. Since my beardie-sitter was coming once a a day I had her give as many crickets that Rex could eat in 20 minutes (this is normal time...

    Pretty intense kink in tail?

I had a bearded dragon that had a few kinks in her tail. This occurred while she was in her egg. There was nothing that could be done to improve it.

Is petsmart acceptable Place to buy a Bearded Dragon from

I got mine from there and he is doing great. He was about 6 weeks old at the time and I've had him for a little over a month. Make sure you look to see if the beardie looks alert and healthy before purchasing.

    Pin worms and other Parasites

Excuse my lack of knowledge on the subject. But I am here to learn so I thought I would post a question. How does a beardie develop parasites? It is from the live feeders? Is it something that they are born with? Or predisposed to? I have read other threads about requiring...

    Tiny Boss!

It's a great thing you came into his life. Not sure what happened the first week you had him, but obviously he is thriving in your care. I read on a few threads those that had similar experiences and with the proper care, such as what you have provided, the beardie doesn't show anymore of the...

Going out of town...what can I do?

[q Unfortunately Rex has a basking spot that is a tree branch that has many places where crickets hide. So when I feed him I take out his branch... Not sure if my critter sitter wants to go through all the extra steps I do for him. I wouldn't want crickets left in there that might think Rex...

Going out of town...what can I do?

That might be more doable...have to make sure that if I have crickets that they remove them completely after 20 minutes or so. I really doubt my father-n-law would be happy to volunteer, hahahaha! Gotta go make arrangements...thanks for all of your help! I really appreciate it! :)

AGH! I never thought about the consequences of bringing him along in a hotel! oops! I need to start looking for someone that I c an trust to come over twice a day to feed him...wish I had some phoenix worms instead of crickets. Thanks Brandon for the advice...I am going to miss him while I...
