    Angry bath time?

At first mine gets squirmy, but calms down in a minute. But I don't think she'll ever get over the initial "putting her in water" phase. I guess it's just up to the beardie's character (assuming all your conditions are right).

Which way does your beardie like greens?

She can eat it whole or in small bits. I try not to feed her the whole leaf since I'm afraid she'll get an impaction, but it's fun to watch. She's trying to munch on a leaf that's 3x the size of her head. Usually she'll bite off a small piece by shaking the leaf back and forth until it rips off...

    quick question - insect:vegetable ratio...

I know that as BDs age, their diet spectrum shifts from insects as juveniles to vegetables and fruits as adults. I'm not sure when to make a "shift" in the diet. My beardie is about 19 months (1 year 7 months) old and I've been feeding her about 60% crickets/dubia and 40% vegetables/fruits for...

Question about baby bearded dragon colour ?

I can't really see the pictures that well since I'm on my phone, but they get darker in color when they bask to absorb heat better. On the other hand, they turn lighter when they're not basking sleeping.

    beardies in the wild

Heh. I would assume captive bred dragons are much more "cuddly" than wild ones.

Reptile Show, San Diego Ca, 2011

Wow...I missed out. Anyone have pictures of the event?

    Sleeping straight up.

I think it's because they're semi-arboreal, meaning they somewhat like to sleep in trees. So thus they don't mind the weird positions.

    Breeding Silkworms?

Are silkworms difficult to breed? It looks much more complicated than crickets or Dubia.

    She shakes?

How fast does she shake? She could have MBD, which is common in dragons that have a nutrient deficiency along with poor UVB. You should check that out...just use the search function and you'll find plenty of posts. Other than that, maybe she's just scared or doesn't have a firm grip when you're...

    Sand or no sand

I'd say use tile instead. Just do a quick search on this forum and you'll see why. :D

    She shakes?

Could it be that she's vibrating to produce heat? I know snakes do that, but I dunno about dragons.

Beardie not eating that much anymore

Same here. I'm trying to feed her a little more than usual, but she just refuses and ignores it...and gives me the stink eye.
