Recently Spike has entered a dormant, not-eating, lazy phase. Could be brumation but the UVB light is too small for the 50 gallon tank he is in. I just bought a ReptiSun 10.0 UVB 18" tube light. I figured I could just go online and order a fixture for 20 bucks but it turns out they are 50+...
Remove the sand ASAP! I reccomend using Zoomed reptile carpet or an ExoTerra sand mat. I have an ExoTerra sand mat in my 50 gal. setup and it looks really nice and realistic. You can put your beardie on paper towels for the time being.
Rescued little Spike from PetCo and I have had him for a while now. I am curious on what kind of morph he is. He is yellow/orange with purpleish stripes on his ribs with a yellow/orange body. Here he is:
It's the 4th of july and fireworks are always boomin' :lol: . My dog absolutely flips out when there are loud noises but my bearded dragon doesn't. Does anyone out their have firework problems? Just curious :lol: :o !

Have you taken your beardie out of their enclosure? Some times a little love and excercise helps. My beardie Spike acts lethargic sometimes as well and I find that this helps.
