Which way should the vents face? up and out? or down and out? does it matter? would facing it down keep the heat in better as facing it up may encourage the rising heat to escape?

Puff is just under 7". and am feeding 1/4" crickets. he just started eating them this am (gave him one at a time) and he ate 7 of them with much gusto.

Puff eats his worms fine, and veggies when i hand feed it to him (peel back side lip and stick it in) but when i put him in a container with crickets, he doesnt care for them at all. anyway to entice him to try some crickets?

so a digital thermometer is better? i have the Zilla but dont feel too comfortable relying on it.

he seems to be eating his worms well now, but i dont think he is eating any of his veggies (hard to tell really) and when i put him in a tub to feed on crickets, he doesnt seem to have any interest in them. he just looks around for a little bit then tries to climb out.
