I ordered some bsfl online but they won’t be here until Tuesday or Wednesday. All my pet stores near me are out of crickets and have been for the past 4 days everytime I went in. Will my beardie be okay without live food & only veggies or is there something else I can feed?

Definitely will be ok eating salads and veggies/fruits. How old is your dragon?
You can try some scrambled eggs and shredded chicken if you want, but a week of salads will cause no issues.

How old is the dragon? He will haft to survive on the veggies for now - I dont recommend dried crickets but you can feed those --- here are some websites for worms and insects --
http://www.dubiaroaches.com they have nice roaches which are a better staple feeder anyway they last longer -- you can keep them in a 10 gallon tank or plastic tote feed them dubia food along w/ carrots or squash for hydration - you can get some horn worms as well get the medium they usually send small
http://www.mulberryfarms.com they have nice silk worms along w/ BSFL and butter worms - they are spendy on shipping- you can also order small super worms from them --
http://www.artilianarts.com nice silk worms you can order in bulb like 50 they will send small make sure you order food for them they need to be fed daily and clean containers out daily the cups come w/ food
http://www.coastalsilkworms. com they ship from the west and east coast - they come w/ food -
I would not rely on your petstore anymore for feeders I am hearing too many people on the forum boards that they cannot get crickets -- roaches are a way better staple feeder anyway -- they dont stink or chirp and last longer

Your lizard will be fine with veg/fruit for a week. Remember these are tough animals and in the wild would be limited to what they can find to eat; some weeks may be better than others for them they wouldn't get a consistent supply of feeders and greens on the daily. This is why many reptiles are overweight in the hobby and have fatty liver issues because we tend to quite literally feed them to death.

My 2 guys are plump; I still over feed them...but they are both adults(2 and 5 years) they eat 4-5X per week and not on a schedule. I mostly use Dubia for feeders but also do feed some superworms because they enjoy them; supers are easy to keep on hand as a supplement/back up feeder as they are basically no upkeep and very inexpensive.

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
Taking my beardie for a walk
