Hi everyone
We’ve had our beardie (Professor Levi Skittles) for 10 months now and it’s becoming harder and harder to handle him.
I feed him (or her) by hand and daily touch him, stroking his tail but he still hisses at me. And once I gave him a bath he bit me. I think I need someone to come show me how to handle him and help me tame him. I honestly do t want to part with him (plus it would kill my son).
Can anyone recommend someone in Melbourne who can help me? Post Covid lock downs of course.

Hi there, he's just showing you that he [ thinks ] he's boss. Just pick him up firmly but gently and hold him to your chest. Do this every day for 10 minutes, then after 2 weeks make it longer. Don't worry if he squirms, he'll soon settle down and realize it's not so bad. And forget about petting, beardies don't really like it, they just tolerate it.

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
