Hey folks, Glad I found you guys. So Drago doesn't seem to eat any of his salad. I know his diet should be 75% to 80% insect and the rest salad. He(?) is about 11 weeks old and when I weighed him a week ago he was 13g. Right now for insect I'm only feeding dusted crickets twice a day with about 5 each feeding. Should I be worried about him not eating vegies? Right now I'm trying to give him mustard and or turnip greens, bell pepper and shredded carrots. I even tried to moisten some pellets, but he just does seem to want the vegies.

Most of the time younger bearded dragons will eat more insects than salad. Though you should put salad in their habitat, I suggest doing a 10 minute test. A ten munuit test is when you feed your dragon for 10 minutes feeding them as many as they will eat (they will stop when they get enough, at least mine does). That way you will know how much will be sufficient to their diet :D

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
Taking my beardie for a walk
