Hi. I recently decided to take on a bearded dragon of someone I knew, I’m doing a degree in animal behaviour so I have a few rescues. His burns and injuries have been treated however I’m concerned as to whether he has tail rot and I was hoping someone more knowledgable in beardie health could double check?

It’s not cold to the touch and he seems to be moving it okay, I’m bathing him regularly in hopes it’s excess shed but please let me know. Also if you need more pictures I can do so as soon as he’s awake!

It’s just how much darker his tail is compared to his body, it’s not really an area of the tail that worries me if that makes sense?

The darkening is normal. I don't see anything to be concerned with in the photos. Usually problems show up as wounded/damaged looking tail or shriveled areas of the tail.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
