Beardie woke up from brumation.

Hello,

My beardie of two years and a half was in and out of brumation, and after 2 months of sleeping in and out of brumation, he woke up this morning (around 9 when i woke up), so I turned the basking light and uvb light on, and he basked for 4-5 hours. Now 4:42pm, he is still kinda lethargic and not moving much, he walked around (even ran abit!) on the floor, and now after being lethargic for a while he kinda went back in his hide (not fully). I assume it takes a few days for him to fully wake up and be active ? I fed him 3 superworms and 2 wax worms, not sure if that was wise or not. I heard they sometimes ho back into brumation after waking up like this, so maybe feeding his 5 worms wasent a great idea?

If he's decided to wake up , I'd resort to summer temperatures and photoperiod to give him a chance to process the food he now has on board , will take several days I expect and he may well stay up.

None of my pet lizards (beardies, bluetongues ,water skinks have bromated) in over 8 years .

Yep, turned lights on, and he is on a 13 light and 11 hr non light schedule, instead of normal 12/12. Iv fed him well dusted (more extra calcium) crickets, since I dont feel like giving him superworms right now, about 4-6 crickets a day. He never ever ate his vegetables, very rarely, so vegetables right not I highly doubt he is going to go for, but I still make him a salad every morning.

This morning he woke up again, I got home from school around 1:45 and he was up near the basking light, so thats a good sign I think.
