My Beardie has a strange wound on one his digits :(

Um Hi... I noticed this morning that my beardie had some kind of wound in one his digits and of course we called to the Vet, but the doctor that specializes in reptiles/lizards wasn't available at the moment so we have to wait until tomorrow.
So I just thought to ask here, if someone would recognize if this wound is just a infected wound or is it already gone gangrene...

Hi there....you might get some Betadine from a pharmacy and dilute it to look like iced tea. Soak the toe in it for about 10 minutes a day. It looks like there may have been a bit of retained shed there [ it wraps around like a rubber band to restrict blood flow ] You can then put raw honey on it [ unpasteurized , from health food store ] but you have to take any loose substrate out of the tank. It may or may not fall off, I've had a dragon with a pinched finger like that for all her life.

You're welcome. :) If your beardie sits still for you, you can actually put the betadine mix in a small jar and hold beardie with her one foot only in the jar....if she'll cooperate.
