Is there a way to report users?

Hiya,

Is there a way to report users on this site? There's one "poster" - probably a bot - who is posting nothing but links to adult content/porn sites. I reported all four of their posts and got "This post has already been reported." each time... Would there be a way to report the user as a whole?

It's because a post can be reported only once since I believe moderators get an email or something when a report is generated. Prevents them from getting spammed out.

So if you see that, it means it's been reported already, and a moderator hasn't come on to deal with it yet.

I was online when it was happening so they were all reported by me FWIW lol. They always get banned

It's just a waiting game until Tracie or liam are available.

Hello!

Thanks for your help & concern.

We don't get notifications of reports, via PM/email, but, we do have our Moderator dashboard
in which we can look to see what Reports are pending, etc.
We do try to stay on top of things, but we do rely on our wonderful members to help out also.
So as Brandon said if a thread has already been reported, it will simply say that it has already
been reported or can't be reported again, etc.

Honestly that is an awesome idea, I literally was just about to go and post about the exact same subject/idea and then I saw this post.

I too came on here to check the forums and found quite a few *unpleasant to see* posts and reported them also with the "this has already been reported" message.

But I really do think that The moderator's jobs would be quite easier if there was a report user option. Especially if there comes in another bot spamming in more *Unpleasant to see* posts in waves and such.

Lol yeah, Like the moment I log on there's another 10 or so to report. It's almost been like hydra this week. The mods delete one and fifty more pop up. ?
