Deworming Dubia Colony?

Both of my dragons got pinworns. Darn things didn't even show signs of infection! I'm definitely now going to start a regular deworming schedule, but I'm pretty sure my colony is infected, too. Is there any way to deworm a roach??

My two dragons have completed their deworming regimen, but would hate to reinfect them

I don't think you can treat a insect colony and really they probably aren't long term hosts of reptile parasites. The parasites need a reptile host for their reproductive stage so feeders that have been infected (eating contaminated food or waste) can harbor them but they should not be able to establish in the colony.

I'd be diligent with cleaning the tub of frass for a while, and avoid contamination - don't put uneaten feeders back in the colony, don't put food from the dragons tank in the colony (at least until your sure they are clear).

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
