Who doesn't love a 3 lb bag of chow? :D

And I added some metallic ventilation tape to the inside, prevents the smaller nymphs and sub-adults from crawling up.

So far, great kit clear! :blob5: :blob8: :blob5: :blob8:

Overall, amazing kit.
I had only one dead roach, and that is awesome for a trip from the east coast to Omaha, NE. :D
Plenty of nymphs, this will be a breeding house for sure.
Will keep updated with the colony growth!
Once again, awesome kit - I highly recommend this to anybody thinking about starting a Dubia colony.
15 adult males and 40 Adult Females - this is worth every penny, and who doesn't love 250 mixed Dubias along with them?
:D

Glad everything made it safe! I added a few extra males because they are the ones that tend to die in shipments. I hope everything works out for you!!!!

Sorry to hijack the thread, but what did you use to cut out the top for the screen? And what did you use to attach the screen to the hole? I'm wondering because I don't have access to a glue gun and don't want to buy one just to attach a piece of screen to a roach bin. :p Could I use duct tape instead?

You can use super glue, duct tape or a glue gun. I personally used the Gorilla Glue tape, that stuff works awesome. I didnt have much luck with the duct tape, but it was a "cheap" version of duct tape so maybe thats why it didnt adhere that well. Just use a razor knife to cut the tap plastic cover, its only plastic and will cut easily.

Gorilla Glue works wonders on anything, period. The Gorilla Tape also works amazingly. I just used an utility knife and cut along an outline I sketched on it and then hot glued the screen on. I'm getting a reading of about 81.2°F at about 6 inches about the floor of the tub, so I threw a towel over the screen for now, and my water gel is about ready to go in, I have a potato slice in there to give them something for hydration. Does anybody know if the roach chow is alright dry or moist?

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
