My 7 mo old is getting treated for coccidia right now and I've been steam cleaning the cage daily and whenever he poops I try to remove it as soon as possible. My question is, sometimes he doesn't poop before I go to work and I don't remove the poop for a few hours, will this make coccidia reinfection worse? Should I have someone come by to remove any poop while I'm gone or will having it sit in the tank a few hours be ok?

I think as long as you clean it up and sanitize well when you get home, it should be OK. If he winds up running through it or getting it on himself/smearing it, then I'd give him a bath in warm water with some baby mild soap. Otherwise, just clean and sanitize it when you can get to it.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
