I've never been able to find a good consensus on what the optimum humidity for a bearded dragon is supposed to be. They're desert critters, but my vet says that people make the mistake of thinking that they don't need to be
hydrated. We have the opposite problem with low humidity and our beardie gets a
bath every day and water dribbled on his nose to give him a chance to drink, just to keep him
hydrated enough.
I've had a hard time finding those thermo/hygro probe systems I mentioned. The best one I have is an old one I got at Radio Shack almost 20 years ago, but it's wearing out now and they don't make them anymore. I don't like the new one I found. Maybe someone else knows where you can get a good one currently? :? As well as what the optimum humidity should be for a beardie, and maybe how often they usually need to have their nails trimmed. :? :? :?
