Hi,
in the middle of the night, I could hear my beardie moving around, I went to check and nothing. Not more than a minute later I could hear her again, and she was pooping!
It was not a normal poop, no white stuff, pretty runny and it smelled more like human urine than beardie poop. I have not changed her diet nor seen her eat anything weird or bad. She was not warm and the light had been out for some hours. She acts fine, but sometimes weird aswell, she ate one super worm and then totally abandoned the others, she usually loves them, like a kid in a candy store. Maybe she is just tired.. So, anyway, I gave her a warm bath, and tried to get her pooping some more without luck.
I’m just wondering why and how she pooped? Could it be parasites, diarrhea, or just when you got to go, you got to go?
I have been reading other similar topics, and people mention parasites. Can I only get that tested at a vet?
This has never happened before and the past days she has been eating great as always and exploring, running around.
Thanks in advance!

I am not sure about getting poop tested from somewhere else - you might want to call the vets in your area and see who is a reptile vet ask if you can drop off a fecal to have it tested for parasites/ worms-- you can see if it comes back positive for parasites and go from there-- I did that here where I live and it was around $30 to have it tested

That isn't common but it could have just been an upset stomach and she had to go. Keep an eye on her for unusual behavior though and if this happens again or if her poop continues to be runny and smelly a vet visit is a good idea. A fecal test costs about $30 where I am as well, but you usually need to have an exam done too (I encourage this) if you don't already have a relationship established with a local vet.

Thanks, I will have a close eye on her the next couple of days or weeks. If it continues I will contact a vet (like 5 mins away from me, reptile vet "expert"). Don't worry, the vet has good reviews and are pretty trustworthy in my community.

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
