My dragon has been lethargic for the past month. He's a 9 year old Male beardy called Charmander.
We took him to the vet and he was given metronidazole due to parasites in his fecal sample. We visited two vets and neither of them noticed the pores.
He had a week of the medicine, daily at I 0.375cc/ml orale dosage. I provided a fecal sample 1 week after ending treatment and his poo sample came back clear. Great!
Except, he is still lethargic and won't even walk over to his food bowl.
Tonight, I stumbled along some posts regarding femoral pores which I hadn't even read about. I checked his femoral pores and to me it looks like they're blocked. I've given him a 15 minute soak at 97f but they're still very solid. I'm finding it hard to find a reference picture for healthy looking femoral pores, can someone chime in on whether these are in fact clogged?
Enclosure/Diet details:
Arcadia Halogen 50w
Arcadia 12% D3+
Basking spot 105F surface temp, 105-110F air temp
Cool end 76-84F depending on the day
Can get to around 12" to the UVB bulb
Vegetables: Spring greens, butternut squash, rocket, blueberries/strawberries/grapes (Treats), radish
Insects: Mainly Dubia roaches but sometimes we get locusts or calci worms in to mix it up.
EDIT: Calcium every feed on weekdays and Saturday. Vitamins 1 day on the weekend.
Thanks in advance!
