Droopy Eyes

My beardie Drogo, seems to have droopy eyes. I was wondering if anyone would know what causes this.

He eats regularly. I give him crickets in the vitamin powder every day and he has meal worms and crickets every few days. I give him collard greens in his dish every day but he only eats a few pieces every once in a while.

He poops every day with no issues.

He has a water dish that I keep plenty of water in but he never seems to drink it so I make sure to bathe him every few days. No soap, just warmish hot water. He's not a big fan of baths but I am trying to make sure he gets enough water.
I think he is about 4 months old.

His basking spot is about 105 to 113 fahrenheit and his cooler side of the tank is about 85 to 90. He is in a 50 gallon tank. I think the dimensions are 36x18x18. I am not sure what exact wattage or UVB he has but I did buy a bearded dragon kit and I already have had to replace the UVB light and when I bought that one I got the biggest one that was recommended for bearded dragons. I also had to replace his red night light so again, I went with the one recommended for bearded dragons. I have been reading recently that the red light annoys them at night so for the moment, I put a large box in his terrarium so that he will have plenty of darkness and he sleeps in there at night and still stays warm. Then when I get paid, I will get him a ceramic heat emitter.

Also, I don't know if this helps but I believe he is about to shed.

Any help would be appreciated... Thank you.

Did the droopy eyes just start? Sometimes it's genetic and not really an issue. It could also be from irritation due to shed or in rare cases a kidney problem. If they have been like that for a while it's probably genetic and nothing to really worry about. It's good that you've upgraded the lighting. High quality UVB is especially important. The cool side temps are a bit high so you might want to raise the basking light up a little higher to reduce the temps a bit. 100-105 basking side and 75-85 cool side are good temps to shoot for.
What are the temps in the tank overnight? If they stay above 65 you don't need to use a CHE or any light at all. A cool down overnight is natural for them. Even when I heat my tank in the winter the overnight temps stay around 70-73 no higher. I'd keep the red light off either way.

His eyes have been droopy for a while. I thought my eyes were ticking me at first which is why I never posted about it.

I'll work on getting his cool side cooler.

The temps at night with just the red light is about 80 in his basking spot. I'm not sure what it is at the bottom of the tank. I could test it tonight.

I worry about him getting too cold at night because my house stays at 65 year round.

Mine also has droopy eyes and I read it’s normal. But make sure you get rid of that red light!!! Colored lights are harmful for their eyes and can cause them to not sleep as good as needed. Please get a Ceramic Heat emitter, they give out heat with absolutely no light so just leave the CHE on at night!

Oh I’m sorry I just read the part about you saying you’re going to be getting a CHE. My apologies! But you should be giving him calcium 5x a week and vitamin 2x a week, without calcium he can develop MBD or a calcium deficiency

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
