My bearded dragon, Aspen, hasn't pooped in about two weeks. About two weeks ago I took him to the vet because he wasn't eating, which turned out he had an infection, which I'm currently giving him antibiotics for. He did start eating his greens every day and roaches every 2 to 3. The only problem is he isn't pooping. I've had this issue before and I gave him prune baby food with some honey and olive oil, then after that I gave him a bath and he pooped. He's 1 1/2 years old and his hot side temperature is 100, and his cool side is about 80. I'm going to try the prune baby food and bath method tonight but I want to know any other ideas if that doesn't work. If nothing works I'm going to take him to the vet again.

Are you giving him probiotics to help restore the good gut flora? If not, that should help his whole system to get back in shape quicker.

Eyedropper or small syringe , 0.3ml of olive oil by mouth, usually gets things moving inside 24-48 hrs and they like the taste of the stuff too.

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
