My beardie Drogo, seems to have droopy eyes. I was wondering if anyone would know what causes this.
He eats regularly. I give him crickets in the vitamin powder every day and he has meal worms and crickets every few days. I give him collard greens in his dish every day but he only eats a few pieces every once in a while.
He poops every day with no issues.
He has a water dish that I keep plenty of water in but he never seems to drink it so I make sure to bathe him every few days. No soap, just warmish hot water. He's not a big fan of baths but I am trying to make sure he gets enough water.
I think he is about 4 months old.
His basking spot is about 105 to 113 fahrenheit and his cooler side of the tank is about 85 to 90. He is in a 50 gallon tank. I think the dimensions are 36x18x18. I am not sure what exact wattage or UVB he has but I did buy a bearded dragon kit and I already have had to replace the UVB light and when I bought that one I got the biggest one that was recommended for bearded dragons. I also had to replace his red night light so again, I went with the one recommended for bearded dragons. I have been reading recently that the red light annoys them at night so for the moment, I put a large box in his terrarium so that he will have plenty of darkness and he sleeps in there at night and still stays warm. Then when I get paid, I will get him a ceramic heat emitter.
Also, I don't know if this helps but I believe he is about to shed.
Any help would be appreciated... Thank you.
