I've had my male bearded dragon for 5 years and he has suddenly started to be very alert and skittish with us. He's never been aggressive with us before, he's being pooping (yesterday) and has been eating. His eyes look fine and no discoloration on skin (apart from stress marks) and he's done a partial shed in the last month. He did show signs on brumation about a month ago but has since come out and has been active.

I feel it could be a parasite but I'm not sure.

Note: Due to Coronavirus, we have been in the house a lot more over the past 2 months. So I'm Not sure if this could be a reason

Just wondering if anyone has experienced similar or has any ideas what could be going on?

Could be lighting --- could be a hormone thing --- stress marks??? Do you have other animals in the house to cause stress marks? What about reflection of the glass ? More noise than usual ? Lets start w the lighting --- what are you using for a UVB? How old is it? Where in the tank ? top of screen inside the tank ? Basking temps ? What are they how are you taking them? NO stick ons they are incaccurate--

I think it might be the lighting.
The viv is set up 2 uvb lights and one basking (75w arcadia E27).
One uvb went a while back and we replaced it with a exo terra repti-glo 2.0.

Then the second a Arcadia 30w 10% desert went a month or 2 back and that we replaced it with another exo terra repti-glo 2.0 (I think this was the mistake). I changed the lighting yesterday back to one exo terra 2.0 and one Arcadia 10% desert.

No, no other animals have been introduced to the house.

And his viv has been in the same place for the last 5 years. So reflections should be the same as always. Tank temp up top is 32c, basking temp is 39.5c and the lower tank hid is 28c. Temps are taken with exo temps digital thermometers.

Get rid of of the Repti Glo that is the problem----- they are one of the worst on the market--- get a regular bright white basking bulb and I would get the Arcadia 12% UVB ---- either it can be placed on top of the tank w/ basking decor 8-10 inches directly underneath it --- or inside the tank w/ a distance of 12-15 inches from basking decor---- this is the problem --- change all this out and see what his behavior does ---

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
