Is that just a bit of a cooling mechanism? I noticed he does that occassionaly when under basking light. Not for long, several seconds maybe. I thought I read somewhere that they do that when they have reached optimum basking temp.
Thoughts?

Hi. Yep. Just like when a dog pants :D
But he's not too hot? Basking temp is 95.4 with probe laying on his basking site.
Just wanna make sure.
Thanks!

If he feels too hot then he will crawl to the cool side.

I gave seen my dragon gape and move to cool side. Takes a few seconds then she relaxes and looks content again in the cooler area.

Thanks! Just bought a new fixture and now having to get the temps adjusted again. Also bought timer so I don't have to worry about sleeping in or not being home.
Appreciate your help.
