I got my bearded dragon a week ago, and was aware that stress marks were common when they're initially rehomed. However, in the past few days she has began what seems to be attacking her reflection in the glass. She'll be arm waving randomly at the top of her log, then jump at the glass. Sit for a minute, and go back to basking. 5 times in the past 24hrs. Also, she has jumped from her log to the thermometer effectively stranding herself twice in that time.

These are her marks immediately after being taken out of her tank:

These are her marks roughly 3 minutes later

Also, the pic of her on the thermometer... (Dont worry, Im getting a digital thermometer. This one is temporary :D )

These marks are common among young dragons. I think they are mislabeled as stress marks. They tend to be pretty universal when they are young and are more pronounced when they darken themselves to bask. They aren't something to be concerned with and basking is a good sign. The jumping is probably curiosity about her environment (and they love jumping and climbing as little ones). You might consider switching to an IR temp gun or digital thermometer with probes to get more accurate surface temp readings than you would with the analog thermometer you have now.

Alright, thanks! I was doubtful of the marks being normal at first since the greater majority has said stress, while you're the third I've found who suggested otherwise. The first being a post I found somewhere here, and the second being her breeder. I assumed the darkening was primarily their top scales, so my bad :D

Anyway, any suggestions for what to do about her reflection...?

You can put up some paper along the glass to reduce reflection. They tend to grow out of it though and if you have a safe spot for her to roam around (supervised) out of the tank she might like that too if she's acting curious.

I let her roam my room daily. She usually decides to run around or sleep on me

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
