Juvenile opens his mouth every once in a while

Sometimes my juvenile will open his mouth every couple of minutes just slightly. He isn't doing it when I get close to the cage or anything and I'm not sure if he's doing it to cool off, because he tends to do it on his basking spot instead of moving to the cooler side. Should I be concerned? I'm not sure what this means.

Yeah that's likely just him gaping to cool off his head while he is basking and absorbing lots of heat for his body. My icon is a photo of Cooper doing the same thing and it is quite normal for them.
