man Judah is going nuts today! he is sheading a bit on the face, which he is normal pretty cranky when he is sheading, but today is is just going awol :lol: running back and forth back and forth, under the log over the log, head bobbing at me, occasionally black bearding me. Earlier he woke me up becasue he was flipping his bowl around, that means FEED ME IM STARVED :whip: so I got up and got his veggies, and he just looked at them from across the tank. I finally desided to pick him up and move him to his bowl, he anted nothing to do with that, flippin around tail whipping my arm. then id get him oer there and he keept running back over to the other side of the tank :lol: I grabbd the Miner ALL (he loves his flavor treats) then he finally desided he would go over to eat the salad since i was going to put the good stuff on it. Then he ran around a bunch more, then pooed. So I normally get the bluk cleaned, then take him out and put a mild bleach spray on it> He woudl not let me pick him up! lil booger just kept jumping right out of my hand, smearing poo juice all over my hand...eww I know sorry grosse! I finally had to throw his lil snuggie blankie over him so he coudl see to pick him up! It was like I was tring to wrestle a gator or something, lil booger. any who I let him run around the room for a while, then put him back, it too cold to stay out very long right now. He then started glass dancing, which means I WANT OUT. so took him back out an let him run around for bout 30 min and put im back wraped in anew snuggie, itched his face for a while he lovd that. He sat for about 10 min and then proceeded to run all over again/ still ocasionally black bearding me. :lol:

I can't wait to see what it is like to give him a bath today :lol: I wish I coudl just let him run around out all day, but it is so cold in my house :( anyways he is such a lil pisser when he is sheadding but I have never seen him runn around so much and constantly black beardin. silly guy :mrgreen:

He must really hate his shed. When you bathe him use a baby tooth brush on him. If you don't have a baby one a worn out soft one might do the trick. When Bogie is shedding he will rub all over his toothbrush like a cat. It is so funny to watch. Try it I bet he will enjoy it too.
Good luck catching him for the bath. :lol:

Oh that's so cute! Yeah I have been rubbing him with a tooth brush in and out of the bath, it doesn't really do it for him like rubbing him with my finger though it seems. I thought he's really like the tooth brush but he seems indifferant to it. He rubs himself all over the driftwood too. the only thing that really seems to other him is when his head and face are sheadding, the rest he really doesn't seem to bother him. He has a reallt hard time sheadding his beard, the lil pieces get all stuck on the beard spikes, and will stay on there for several weeks. I then have to flick at them, rub them with the toothbrush etc. in and out of the bath. i think he may actually have 2 or 3 spike sheads on his beard that are a few months old. think I'll have to put soem neosporin on them to losen the up after he finishes the shead on his face.

I just gave him a bath and he was totally calm, he usually jumps around and trys to leep out ot the sink. He is calmer now that he had the bath, no more black beard. the other really funny thing is that he wants more vits when he is sheadding. I can tell he is going to shead when he wont eat his salad unless I out either the Miner All or the calcium on there, its pretty funny.

He looks big enough for the tub. Bogie loves to swim back and forth and then float in the deep end. I put a rock in for him and he climbs on it and dives off. Over and over and over.... :lol: Try Judah in the tub next time, he may really like it. :D

That's so cute I could see you lil guy swimmin and jumping of the rock. The kitchen sink is pretty big and he is pretty good, but when he wants out when he is "done" he starts tring to jump out. I would put him in the tub, but it is too much of a hassel right now. I have 3 guys living with me and "thier" bathroom is the only one with a tub, the others just have standing showers. Anyways they don't keep it all that clean if ya know what I mean. I am having them all move out soon, so I will be able to use the tub again soon. I miss taking long baths myself :D

Mine prefes a shower!

once when she pooped in the bath i took the plug out and got hte shower head to clean it all out, she just kept following the shower, when i held it still she lifted her head up, closed her eyes (i think you could just hear a sigh of relif that she finally caught it!) inching closer to the stream of water. eventually she does go right under-but she jumps out of her skin - then repeats the whole process!

So now she soaks until she has a little poop, then a shower for about 5min! very cute to watch!

Mine prefers showers also. She has been taking them for about 4 years now and refuses to take baths. They are quite entertaining to watch in the shower.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
