Dear Santa
This year is my first Christmas,
for I am not quite one
My family who just adopted me
tell me this time of year is fun
They said that you will leave presents
For them and me as well
I leave them one each morning
But mine also have a smell
They tell me you are good at hiding
They said you even have a beard
Can it change colour to like mine ?
The similarities are just too weird
I was told I should write this to you
Since you like to recieve it in a list
I’d love a Christmas tree shaped grub pie
As well as a extra long warm mist!
If you have a spare habba hut
I wouldn’t complain at getting that
Perhaps a big pile of medium crickets
Or a brand new substrate mat
Id like for those in undersized vivariums
To be given a big enough space
For those with incorrect lighting and heat
To have those things left at their place
But mostly what I would like this year
Isn’t in your reindeer pulled red wagon
I wish for there to be a loving safe home
For every single unloved bearded dragon
To all my new friends at beardeddragon.org

For there is now only 50 days to go
